Your wedding ceremony will have
its own stamp of individuality

I have been officiating weddings since 2014 and every single wedding I have written and officiated is different. The one common denominator in every marriage is love; as long as that exists, my all-inclusive approach to creating a customized wedding ceremony is to understand your history as a couple, your hopes for the future, and the style of wedding you envision. To do so, I will have you fill out a brief questionnaire and once I have a draft prepared, you can review it and we can make as many edits as you wish. I was a Justice of the Peace as a Chatham resident from 2014 – 2020. When I moved to Harwich, there were no JP positions open (there are only a certain amount allotted per town). Not wanting to abandon my career, I was able to get ordained and registered with the Commonwealth as a Member of the Clergy. I operated exactly the same as when I was a JP, just under a different title.
Typically, I wear a dress or dress pants and top in neutral tones. My goal is to look polished and professional, and not detract from your wedding party and color scheme. If you have a particular color/attire you prefer for me to wear, I’m happy to do so as long as I own it or you want to make a financial contribution to my wardrobe.
Gratuity is always appreciated, but certainly not necessary. I understand that financing a wedding is not inexpensive, so please know that a tip is optional.
I am happy to attend the rehearsal, but it is not usually necessary for me to be there. Typically, a wedding venue has a dedicated wedding coordinator to run the rehearsal, but if you need someone to organize everyone, or just prefer that I attend, please let me know so I can save the time slot. There is an additional $100 fee for me to attend to compensate for my time. For off-Cape rehearsals, the additional travel fee of $2/mile round trip also applies.
